Deployment Family Guidance Toolkit

Designed to help children and caregivers navigate life’s biggest challenges, the Family Guidance Toolkits are thoughtfully curated by our team of professional staff and childcare specialists. Each kit provides a blend of books, engaging activities, and a variety of online and local resources to offer guidance, education, and emotional support during difficult times.

This new toolkit—the second in the series—was created in partnership with Comfort Crew for Military Kids, a nationally recognized nonprofit based in Austin, Texas. The deployment-focused kit includes books, hands-on activities, and multimedia resources specifically designed to support families who are preparing for, experiencing, or adjusting to military deployment and reunification.
