Services We Offer

Library2Go

The Suffolk Public Library offers library service throughout the community with its library on wheels. The Library2Go brings materials for children, teens, and adults and provide library services including reserves, library cards, and limited reference.

Pop-Up Library

We will bring the library to you! Pop-Up Libraries are temporary libraries that can be set up within a 10 foot by 10 foot tent or even just at a table in unexpected locations. This flexible model of service delivery allows us to bring the library to wherever there is a gathering of people. In our Pop-Up Library locations we can offer:
  • Book check-outs
  • Digital services demonstrations and training
  • Library card registration
  • Library program and service information
  • Programming (such as storytime) at some locations
Past Pop-Up locations have included events and locations including but not limited to the following:
  • Harris Teeter
  • North Suffolk Goodwill
  • Peanut Festival
  • Suffolk Family YMCA
  • Suffolk Farmer's Market
  • Workforce Development Center
